Thanks to I used your Wear and Tear brushes. The map of the Continent above was created by a group of dedicated fans called the Ortelius Team, and offers a detailed look at the world of The Witcher. Thanks to I used your Old Paper texture for coats of arms background and border fill. Thanks to I used her stock gallery for parchment textures. Shoutout to I based a few locations off your map (your map was the only one to have them mentioned)ĬGTextures for various seamless patterns I used for texturing. It is divided into few major areas - White Orchard, Velen and Novigrad, The Skellige Isles, Kaer Morhen and few more smaller ones like Royal Palace in Vizima or Isle of Mists. Thanks to The Witcher Wiki for invaluable amounts of information about all the little streams, hills, lakes and cliffs that weren't mentioned anywhere else! He created the majority of the coats of arms. Open World In the open world of Wild Hunt, you chart your own path to adventure. Super special thanks goes to user Mboro from The Witcher wikia. This was also my first map made partially with the Wacom Intuos tablet, so I might have gone a bit pedal to the metal, although the mountains are quite O.K. At the time of posting this, I have just completed reading Baptism of Fire, the third in the main saga and fifth book in total. In May 2015, I got The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, which gave me a completely different impression of the world of the Witcher and I became so immersed that, even after beating the game and completing most of its numerous side objectives, I decided to give the original book saga a try as well. My first interaction with the saga was back in 2011 when I tried The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, but the world wasn't appealing to me. Unlike the previous Elder Scrolls-themed maps that I've made, this one was quite a challenge. Due to how fantasy worlds work, some information might be missing, incomplete or completely disregarded in some versions and adaptations of the saga. This map depicts the known world (landmass) of the Witcher series, originally written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski.
